Kupwara, April 12: In a moment of immense pride for North Kashmir, Mr. Rehman Tonoli, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Villgam Police Station, has been awarded the prestigious Gallantry Medal for his exceptional bravery and distinguished service in the line of duty.
The medal was presented by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of North Kashmir Range (NKR) in a special ceremony recognizing exemplary service in the police force.
Popularly known as a “super cop,” SHO Tonoli has earned deep respect from both his colleagues and the local community for his fearless leadership and dedication to law enforcement.
His pivotal role in several high-risk operations, as well as his continuous efforts to curb criminal activity and promote community-police harmony, has set a benchmark in policing.

He exemplifies what it means to be in the service of the people,” said a senior police official during the felicitation.
