Creating yet another record, the yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has crossed 93 lakh mark this year, said an official.

Nestled in Trikuta Hills of Katra town in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, over 93 lakh yatris have paid obeisance at the Shrine this year, Anshul Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, posted on X.

He further posted that special langars set up by Shrine Board at Katra Railway Station, Banganga and Tarakote offering Tea and Milk to the pilgrims, as Yatra continues smoothly through both the tracks.

The CEO earlier had said that of over 95 lakh devotees had visited the Shrine in 2023 and for the third consecutive year, the number of devotees (arriving at the Shrine) has crossed 90 lakh.
