In a heartfelt initiative to spread joy and support the underprivileged, a group of dedicated social workers and well-wishers prepared and distributed free food kits for Eid in Srinagar. Renowned sportsperson and social worker Peer Mehak, prominent social worker Syed Aijaz Kashani, well-known social worker Irfana Zargar, and renowned educationist Salim Mir took the lead in organizing this noble cause.

The initiative was entirely funded by the social workers themselves, along with contributions from well-wishers who wanted to ensure that no family goes hungry during the festive occasion of Eid. The food kits contained essential items, including rice, flour, oil, sugar, pulses, and other necessary groceries, allowing families to prepare traditional Eid meals with dignity and joy.
