In a bid to enhance transparency, accountability and public assistance, Srinagar Police has designated dedicated complaint and grievance redressal officers across all of its stations in the City.
“As part of its commitment to responsive and accountable policing, Srinagar Police has designated Complaint & Grievance Redressal Officers in all police stations across the city to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of public concerns,” reads an X post, as per news agency Kashmir Bulletin.
“These officers are available to address grievances, ensuring that every complaint is heard and appropriate action is taken as per the law. This initiative reinforces transparency in policing and strengthens public trust in law enforcement.”
“Citizens are encouraged to approach their respective Police Stations for assistance,” reads the post.
