Srinagar May 18, (TRK):-Amidst the ongoing search operation, the Jammu and Kashmir police have denied claims of harassment by Sehar Shah, daughter of the incarcerated separatist leader Shabir Shah. The search operations were conducted due to the movement of terrorists according to the police statement. “No harm was caused and all the security measures were followed during the search,” the statement added.
The police have also clarified that the search operation had nothing to do with G-20 and that it is routine in the case of inputs. Three DySPs, four lady officials, and others conducted the search in the area. The police have called out the malicious agenda of some individuals who strive to attribute the routine security measures to specific events.
There are tweets by daughter of separatist Shabbir Shah claiming harrasment during search operation. It is clarified that it was search of 20 houses, when inputs of movement of terrorists in this locality came. This has nothing to do with G-20 but is routine in case of inputs 1/3
