State Bank of India has appointed Baldev Prakash as the deputy managing director and group chief risk officer, the lender informed the exchanges.
Earlier, Prakash was on deputation to Jammu and Kashmir Bank as managing director and chief executive officer, whose three-year term ended in December.
The bank has also stated that Shiva Om Dikshit has been entrusted with a new responsibility as deputy managing director, operations-channel management.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released drafts for revised formats of the financial statements — the balance sheet and profit and loss account — for cooperative banks to enhance norms governing regulated entities. These forms were notified in 1981. Since then, there have been several developments in the financial market as well as accounting standards and practices. RBI said it has done a comprehensive review of the formats and released draft formats of the revised forms and their schedules together with instructions for the compilation.
