The workshop saw active participation from 87 personnel, including soldiers, officers, and the Commanding Officer of various units under SHQ BSF Kupwara. Led by senior faculty member Mr. Manjeet Singh, the sessions focused on stress management through scientifically validated techniques such as the internationally renowned “Sudarshan Kriya,” along with Pranayama (breathing exercises), yoga, and life skills training.

The initiative aimed to equip BSF personnel with effective tools to manage stress, improve focus, and enhance emotional resilience. The sessions addressed critical issues often faced by armed forces personnel, such as aggression, depression, and workplace-related stress, offering practical solutions to help them maintain mental equilibrium in challenging situations.

Participants expressed overwhelmingly positive feedback, noting a significant boost in their energy levels, improved sleep quality, reduced anger, and better concentration. Many also highlighted the workshop’s role in fostering team spirit and cultivating a sense of calm and balance despite the high-pressure environment of border security duties.

The Commanding Officer lauded the initiative and conveyed his gratitude to The Art of Living Foundation for their valuable contribution. He emphasized the importance of such programs in improving the psychological resilience and operational efficiency of BSF personnel. He also commended Mr. Manjeet Singh for his professional and empathetic facilitation of the workshop.

This program underscores The Art of Living’s dedication to promoting a stress-free and healthy lifestyle across diverse sections of society, including the armed forces. By empowering BSF personnel with transformative tools and techniques, the foundation continues to contribute to the holistic well-being and resilience of those serving the nation.
