Students from Delhi Public School Anantnag Visited Police Station Awantipora

Police Awantipora today organised a visit of Students of Delhi Public School Anantnag to Police Station Awantipora.The aim of the the programme was to familiarise the students with the working of Police.
SHO Police Station Awantipora Shri Atif Zahoor Dysp(P) briefed the students about the police station work and also about the role of police in the society.

The participating students were given the idea about Police Department, its Ranks, functioning and Policing etc. Besides were shown the various establishments and their day to day working in the Police Department.

Participating students appreciated the role of Police Department and desired to organise such kind of awareness programmes in future to bridge the gap and understand role of Police in many better ways. The students and their teachers have expressed their gratitude for the police department for such programmes.
