Swach Bharat Abhiyan observed by Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services

Swach Bharat Abhiyan observed by Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Alok Kumar IPS ADGP Director Fire and Emergency Services started the cleanness event conducted at Fire Hqrs Gandhinagar Jammu.

Jammu 1st Oct As a part of Swachata Abhiyaan launched by Govt of India Fire and Emergency Services department observed it with great enthusiasm throughout the UT of Jammu and Kashmir 191 events were organised each Fire and Emergency station and command office in all districts of UT observed the day by cleaning the offices and stations besides surrounding areas the main event was organised at Gandhi Nagar Hqrs Jammu wherein Alok Kumar IPS ADGP Director Fire and Emergency Services himself joined the event of Swachata Abhiyaan, speaking on the occasion he asked the jawans to adopt Swachata Abhiyaan as a part of clean India drive he also joined the cleanness with jawans, RK Raina DDJammu and Dr Manju Medical officer FES Jammu and other senior officers also accompanied in cleaning of the office, Fire Station. Lateron the surrounding Green Belt Gandhi Nagar area was also cleaned. Similar functions were held at Range and District Hqrs wherein command officers led the cleanness event at Srinagar Hqrs Aqib Hussain Mir Assistant Director led the Swachata Abhiyaan. Every Fire and Emergency station premises and surroundings conducted the cleanness with great enthusiasm and stations and surrounding areas were cleaned under Swachata Abhiyaan as per the directives of higher authorities. Meanwhile Alok Kumar IPS ADGP Director Fire and Emergency Services has directed all subordinate units to carry forward this Swachata Abhiyaan and make a routine to clean stations and offices besides surroundings on daily basis.
