Teenager Dies After Being Hit by Dumper in Kathua; Protests Erupt

An18-year-old girl lost her life after being struck by a speeding dumper near Palli Morh in Kathua district of Jammu, officials said on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Sarika, a resident of Nihalpur, sustained critical injuries in the accident and was rushed to GMC Kathua for treatment. However, she succumbed to her injuries soon after, officials confirmed.
