Continuing its drive against the Drug peddlers Awantipora Police arrested three drug peddlers from Pampore area.
During vehicle checking at naka point Galander Crossing , Police party of Police Station Pampore under the supervision of SHO PS Pampore Inspector Naieem Ahmad apprehended 03 drug peddlers identified as :
01) Owais Gull S/O Gh Mohd Bhat R/O Drangbal Pampore
02)Tariq Ah Sheikh S/O Gh Qadir R/O Tulbagh Pampore.
03)Mushtaq Ah Mir S/O Ab Khaliq Mir R/O Namblabal Pampore.
The arrested persons were travelling in a scooty which was signaled to stop and during search 8.160 Kgs of grinded Poppy Straw like substance was recovered from their possession
Scooty bearing registration number Jk13E-7562 used in the commission of the said crime has also been seized.
Case FIR Number 9/ 2025 under relevant sections of NDPS stands registered at Police Station Pampore.
