Traffic halted on Srinagar-Jammu highway due to multi vehicle collision in Ramban

Ramban : Traffic movement has been halted on Jammu-Srinagar National highway, following a major accident involving five vehicles near Machlana area of Ramban, officials said.

An official told news agency that three trucks and two vehicles collided near Machlana area, resulting in injuries to few persons and traffic chaos on the highway.

He said that due to narrow passage, traffic on the highway has been halted.

“Traffic stopped from both ends on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to an accident between three trucks and two Inova at Nachlana.

Road hardly single. Commuters are advised to keep patience, follow lane discipline, overtaking will lead to congestion, avoid travel if not necessary” traffic police said in a statement—(KNO)
