Transport Commissioner J&K Targets 103 Serious Violators Through Blacklisting And Suspension Of Route Permits

In a bid to curb traffic violations in J&K, the Transport Commissioner has targeted 103 serious traffic offenders by Blacklisting and suspension of route permits.

An official told that the Transport Commissioner J&K has targeted the top 103 serious traffic violators in J&K. Buses lead the list, with 96 pending challans.

He further said that of these, 27 (28.12%) are for overloading. It’s essential to gather more information on serious traffic offenders.

Strict action will be taken against these serious traffic violators, including blacklisting and suspension of route permits. Personal accountability and discipline are the fundamentals of road safety, they added.(GNS)
