Udhampur — Police have detained two habitual offender, Raj Ali S/o Barkat Ali R/o Mantalai and Ghulam Qadir S/o Mazin Din R/o Jig Ganshad under Public Safety Act (PSA) for their notorious activities in bovine smuggling following a detention order by the District Magistrate Udhampur.

Both the accused were involved in multiple cases of bovine smuggling, with several complaints registered against both of them at Police Station Chenani. Despite repeated warnings, they failed to mend their ways and continued engaging in activities that posed a threat to communal harmony in the region.

Keeping in view of their repeated involvement in bovine smuggling cases, both the accused were ordered to be detained under Public Safety Act.
