Bandipora: Former Minister and Ex-MLA, Usman Majid, has extended heartfelt greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In his message, Majid prayed that this blessed festival instills in everyone the values of selfless service, piety, and compassion towards one another. He emphasized that the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS)—which embodies these virtues—holds even greater relevance in today’s world, often marred by division, acrimony, and unrest.

Majid urged people to embrace the true spirit of Eid-ul-Adha by reflecting on the happiness and welfare of those who struggle to make ends meet or have fallen victim to misfortune. “On this sacred day, let us extend our support to orphans, widows, the destitute, and all those in need. That is where the real essence of celebrating Eid-ul-Adha lies,” he said.

He also expressed hope that this occasion brings lasting peace, joy, and prosperity to the people of the Union Territory.
