The Meteorological Department (MeT) on Friday forecast generally dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir till November 26.

An official of the Meteorological Department (MeT) said, “Currently, the weather is mainly clear to partly cloudy at most places of Jammu and Kashmir.”

He said, “Generally dry weather is expected in the J&K from November 17th to 26th with occasional cloudiness on November 18th and 25th.”

He said, “Shallow fog with mist during morning and evening hours will continue during this period.”

Meanwhile, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar recorded 0.6°C, Anantnag 0.0°C, Kokernag 1.2°C, Qazigund minus 0.1°C, Kupwara minus 0.2°C, Pahalgam minus 3.0°C and Gulmarg minus 1.5°C as the minimum temperature in Kashmir region on Friday.

The winter capital Jammu recorded 11.5°C, Katra 11.4°C, Batote 6.0°C, Bhaderwah 4.0°C, Banihal 2.2°C, Udhampur 7.8°C and Patnitop 5.8°C as the minimum temperature in Jammu region.

In Ladakh region, Leh recorded minus 4.8°C and Kargil minus 4.3°C as the minimum temperature.
