KULGAM: Stating that the Prime Minister Narendera Modi should have talked about the martyred of two soldiers in Kishtwar and the ongoing encounter at Baramulla, National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah today said why NC and PDP weren’t bad when BJP need their support in the past.

“BJP was in government with the PDP post 2014 elections. Wasn’t PDP bad then and responsible for Kashmir mess? If BJP would get less numbers after Assembly elections and if PDP extends support to it, BJP won’t find any faults in PDP to form the government,” Omar told reporters on the sidelines of a political rally in Devsar area of Kulgam district of South Kashmir.

He said when late Vajpayee made him (Omar) a minister in BJP regime, why didn’t they find faults in him.

“Since its election time, PM Modi is all of a sudden finding faults within NC and PDP. He should have talked about the martyred of two soldiers in Kishtwar yesterday and the ongoing encounter in Tappar, Baramulla,” Omar said.

He said they were told that after revocation of Article 370, gun will go away from J&K, but “Is it so.”

Pertinently, PM Modi in his speech in a political rally in Doda today, held NC, Congress and PDP responsible for ruining J&K for the past 70 years.

The PM said that these parties promoted separatism and terrorism in J&K. He even targeted the NC manifesto stating that the document advocates revival of terrorism, separatism and stone pelting in J&K.
