Assam Rifles organised a solemn wreath laying ceremony on 13 April 2025 at Kunjaban Garrison, Agartala, in honour of the supreme sacrifice made by Rifleman/GD Gokul Chand Yadav of 35 Assam Rifles.
The ceremony was marked by heartfelt tributes and deep respect as officers and troops of Assam Rifles gathered to pay homage to the braveheart. Rifleman Gokul Chand Yadav had laid down his life in the line of duty on 13 April 2016 in an IED blast at Imphal.
