RAJOURI: The Indian Army has been placed on high alert along the Line of Control (LoC) in the remote region of Sunderbani in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of Independence Day to ensure the safety and security of people.
The anti-infiltration grid has been strengthened with the use of night vision cameras and drones, which are being monitored day and night in the surveillance room at LOC.
Also, jawans are patrolling day and along the LOC to manually check and stop any infiltration bid.
Additionally, Special Dog Squad is used to sanitise the area of suspected planting of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) by adversaries.
Search and cordon operations are being carried out to clear the area along the LOC for area dominance and sanitise the area from the presence of any adversary.
