Local sledge rider’s body retrieved from snow cavity at Thajwas Glacier Sonamarg

Sonamarg:- The body of missing local sledge rider who fell down into a snow cavity at Thajwas Glacier Sonamarg on Sunday was retrieved from the Snow cavity on Monday morning.

An official told that the body of the missing sledge rider was retrieved from snow Cavity this morning.

Official identified deceased Sledge rider as Manzoor Ahmad Khan Son of Mohd Yousuf Khan a resident of Haknar Gund

The official said that the body has been shifted to PHC Sonamarg for medico—legal formalities.

in Sonamarg, a local sledge rider went missing and two tourists were rescued after they fell into a snow cavity at the Thajwas Glacier.

The incident occurred when the trio accidentally fell into the snow cavity.(KR)
