New batch of 2155 pilgrims leaves for Amarnath Yatra from Jammu.

Amidst the chants of ‘Bam Bam Bhole’, a new group of 2155 pilgrims left from Bhagwati Nagar Base camp on Friday for the Shri Amarnath Cave Shrine in the South Kashmir Himalayas. According to an official, they left in a convoy of 95 vehicles.

A group of 1402 pilgrims, including 1128 males, 228 females, 34 Sadhus, and 12 sadhvis, left for Pahalgam on Friday in a convoy of 58 vehicles. Additionally, 753 pilgrims, consisting of 532 males, 215 females, and six children, departed for Baltal in a convoy of 37 vehicles amid tight security arrangements. The yatra, which began on July 1, is scheduled to end on August 31.
