Residential house collapses due to heavy rainfall in Kulgam village

Kulgam: A residential house was partially damaged due to heavy rainfall at Pranhall (Gujjar Basti) area of Pahloo tehsil in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday.

An official told that due to heavy rainfall the house of Hashmat Ali Khatana son of Ab Salam Khatana of Pranhall got partially damaged on wee hours of Monday.

He said that there was, however, no injury reported in the incident, as the villagers reached the spot immediately and rescued the families.

“Team have been sent to the spot and assistance will be provided to the family”, he said.
