Security Guard Injured in Accidental Fire in Jammu

Srinagar : A security guard was on Wednesday morning injured in an accidental fire at Gandhi Nagar Jammu.

An official told that one security guard Surjeet Singh, manning Jagdambey Jewellers Gandhi Nagar was hit in an accidental discharge from the weapon, causing him injuries in his arm.

“The guard was immediately evacuated from the site to a nearby hospital for treatment, where his overall condition is stable,” the official said.

Confirming it, a police official told that cognisance has been taken into the incident. (GNS)
