In compliance with directives from Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan (IAS), Tehsildar Zachaldara, Syed Basharat Rasool, carried out a surprise inspection of healthcare facilities within the jurisdiction of Tehsil Zachaldara.
The inspection aimed to evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided to the public and ensure the availability of essential medical resources. Tehsildar Zachaldara engaged with patients, hospital staff, and administrators to assess the adequacy of medical facilities, equipment, and the supply of essential medicines.
Speaking on the occasion, Tehsildar Zachaldara emphasized the administration’s dedication to ensuring transparency, accountability, and improved service delivery in public healthcare. “This surprise inspection reflects our commitment to monitoring public services and addressing any gaps in healthcare delivery. By directly engaging with patients and healthcare providers, we aim to identify areas for improvement and strengthen the healthcare infrastructure in the Tehsil,” he said.
He further noted that regular assessments of hospitals and healthcare centers are essential to enhance service quality, upgrade infrastructure, and ensure comprehensive care for the public. This initiative, he added, reinforces the administration’s priority of safeguarding the well-being and welfare of the people, particularly during challenging weather conditions.
The surprise inspection has been welcomed as a proactive step towards improving healthcare services in the region and ensuring that the needs of the community are met effectively.
