YOGOTSAV: A Celebration of Yoga for Women Empowerment in Srinagar

Yoga Festival, “YOGOTSAV” under theme Yoga for women empowerment was organized by Directorate of Ayush Bemina Srinagar under the chairmanship of Dy. Director Aayush Kashmir Dr. Nuzhat Bashir and under supervision Dr Roohi state Yoga trainer, Dr. M.Jamal Bhat medical officer Aayush, Dr. Rohail Jan Medical officer Aayush in JK Police Public school Srinagar with the support of School administration , as it promises a day of profound healing, learning and yogic celebration.
On the occasion, Dr Archana choudhary senior PWWA Member was invited as Chief guest whereas Ms. Snehal Sharma Sr. PWWA Member and Ms Shweta Sr PWWA member both were present as guest of honours. Ms. Snigdha Singh Principal JKPPS Srinagar and Mrs Pragati pandey,mrs nikita PWWA member were also present.In the celebration, girl students of JKPPS participated with full zeal and enthusiasm and were made aware about various yoga types especially for women as this is an ancient Indian tradition.Meanwhile all guests threw light on the importance and benifits of yoga in one’s life.At the culmination of the program Ms. Snigdha Singh Principal in her speech said that yoga promises healthy life and brings unity between mind and body, harmony of Thoughts etc.
