Union Home Minister Amit Shah discussed the implications of The Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Bill, 2023, and The Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Bill, 2023. He highlighted the transformative changes following the removal of Article 370, stating, “For those questioning the impact of Article 370’s removal, let me emphasize that on August 5-6, 2019, the long-muted voices of Kashmiris resonated, reaching the ears of PM Modi. Today, they are witnessing the realization of their long-awaited rights.”

The proposed bills aim to bring about crucial amendments and reorganization in the region, fostering an environment of empowerment and equitable representation. Minister Shah reiterated the government’s commitment to addressing the aspirations of the people and ensuring that the post-Article 370 era fosters inclusivity and development. (TRK News)
